“Best place for sandwiches in Raleigh! The alpine is my fav and is made consistently high quality every time. Sides are great especially the couscous. Great place for vegetarian fair.”

“This place never fails. The food is so consistent. I had not eaten here for probably six months had the same thing last week and it tasted the exact same way. Delicious as always. "Little Piggy" all the way, side double couscous. All day meal.”

“This small cafe is a fantastic little spot in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The decor is eclectic--in a good way--and the coffee beverages are of excellent quality. The owner is extremely friendly and the internet is free and decently fast. They open at 8am and there is a stream of regulars who the owner clearly knows. Great spot to stop at for coffee!”

“This place is kitschy and cute and I love it! There's a floor model tv at the door, funky art throughout, and even a little coffee bar. The owner is friendly and very cool and laid back. He greets everyone with a smile as he skillfully prepares all the coffee drinks. This is a tiny place where you instantly feel comfortable and there is no tv or radio blaring in here (thank goodness) and you can eat outside as well. […] I definitely plan to return to this place. The food is healthy and satisfying, the coffee is strong, and the owner treats everyone like a friend. Love love love it!”

“Perfect place for a coffee and a bite to eat.
The owner is from southern France and I loved talking with him in French. They have everything you need for a perfect coffee, latte, cappuccino etc. If you're looking for a place to go and be transported to France, this is the place for you! I can't wait to come back here and try the food. Great place!”

“Excellent lunch spot! I just started working in downtown and have been trying all new lunch spots for a quick pickup. Sosta did not disappoint!! It's a little hole in the wall cafe. I checked the menu online beforehand and decided on the Guido Sandwich... and I am so glad I did. It was absolutely delicious.... It was perfectly balanced with all its ingredients and nothing was overpowering.... a lot of sandwich places down in Raleigh tend to overdo it with sauces, spreads, or mayo . This one had none of that and it was excellent ! It came with a chick pea and couscous salad which was very very tasty as well. The total portion was generous and left me feeling very full. The service was great and the cook time was quick. I will certainly be back for another lunch.”

“Stopped in at Sosta while staying in Raleigh for a work conference. Great cafe, amazing staff and even better service. We ordered ice coffee, a lavender honey latte, ginger ale and a brownie. Rear escape from the humidity outside. Would definitely recommend stopping by!”

“I clearly looked overwhelmed as I looked over the menu and when I was asked if I needed help, I told the gent behind the counter that I was on a keto diet so no bread. He offered to put together a prosciutto salad and I jumped on it. Holy smokes, this was excellent. A huge pile of thin sliced meat on to of a spinach salad tossed in a light vinaigrette dressing and mixed with roasted walnuts a bits of goat cheese. It was absolutely delicious and completely keto. Wow. Great service, a great meal, absolutely fabulous.”

“Great meal, great environment, great service. We came down for a day trip and were absolutely exhausted when we stopped by and had our spirits renewed. I just want to say thank you again for your kindness and good food.”

Delicious healthy food - tons of vegan and vegetarian options, including a terrific 'barbecue sandwich' made from a soy-based shredded 'pork'. The decor is fun, eclectic, casual, unassuming, plenty of seating (especially for a small cafe) with WiFi. They serve great quality coffee and local pastries also. All sandwiches come with two sides (tabouli, cannoli beans, ect) and you end up with a load of food so you'll have leftovers. Highly recommend for lunch with a friend or coworker.
